Going into this weekend, it was supposed to be all rain. Not typically ideal for a weekend getaway in Florida. However, we all stayed optimistic and followed through with sets plans. It worked out so beautifully! While we had some downpours at moments, we still had each other and created so many fun memories.

We learned to embrace what was thrown our way and it was the absolute best. We all needed this trip. Rain or shine. 🌧️🌈

People have been confusing the 2 and here are the differences! Unfortunately, I do not offer nanobrows. I have studied it and it was difficult for me to learn correctly despite how long I’ve been doing brows so I have put that on hold for now. 🙃

Both do provide the hairstroke effect that people love but nanobrows causes less trauma to the skin and is great for all skin types! However, if done incorrectly, it can go just as wrong as bad microblading. Your artist must understand the pressure and the patience of color saturation so absolutely do your research on the artist before booking. 🤓

Whatever route you take, nano or microblading, I’m sure you’ll be happy either way as long as the work and the artist is for you!

When you let go of your fears and trust your artist!

Yes. It is a nerve wracking experience because it’s your face. Trust me. I’ve been at it for a while and I’ve heard every excuse under the sun. However, if you do your research, have plenty of questions, and know what you want, then you just have to just trust everything else.

She did and was so thrilled with the results despite some doubts leading up to the appointment!

I like to play with fashion! I’m not set into one style because it all depends on what mood I’m in. My clothes are a great way for self expression and I won’t have this body forever so why not dress it?!

Best advice is to invest in timeless pieces that never go out of style and purchase fashion forward items that truly speak to you. I tend to shop anywhere from Wal Mart to TJMaxx to Amazon. It’s even better when things are on clearance because who doesn’t love a bargain?

Enhancing the brows with some strokes and light shading.

If your client is looking for natural, you’ll want those strokes to stand out. Remember to let the color oxidize before going over and over the skin. Otherwise, it’s too late and the brows are too dark and strokes blend into the color too much!

It’s ok to gradually add the shading color. Your first pass should be light but enough to see a difference. Mask with your pigment for a few minutes and clean off to see the color payoff. Certain pigments will need a moment or two to shine. You may be pleasantly surprised just by being a little patient!
