Hello Marian Central!
I am so grateful to God to be able to come before you today as the new spiritual director for Marian! My name is Father Patrick Glanville (you can call me Fr. Patrick), I am one of three of the newly ordained priests for the diocese. I was ordained on June 6th of this year (Praise the Lord!) I am so excited and blessed to begin my priesthood with all of you at Marian! A little bit about me: I was born in Houston Texas, but grew up in Saint Charles, IL. I am the youngest of three kids, and I am blessed with two adorable little nephews! I grew up Catholic going to Saint John Neumann church where my dad Shawn Glanville serves as a deacon. I went to public school up until high school where I went to Marmion Academy in Aurora. It was there through the witness of the Benedictine monks who taught there, I began to hear the call to the priesthood. I spent a year at Purdue University (Boiler Up!) studying computer engineering before God drew me to enter seminary. I studied at Saint John Vianney College seminary in St. Paul Minnesota, and Mundelein Major seminary in Mundelein IL. I love all things coffee, board/card games, hiking, reading, video games, movies, but above all I love Jesus, and am so blessed to be His priest for all of you!
I am so excited to meet all the students, teachers and family here at Marian as the school year starts. Know that I am praying for you and am here for all of you should you ever need anything! The Lord is so good, and I am so blessed that He has called to be with all of you! I look forward to serving you, laughing with you, praying with you, and striving to be saints with all of you!
In the love of Christ,
Father Patick

As Father Warren is in his final days with us, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for all he has done for our school community over the past five years. As our spiritual leader, mentor, and friend, he has guided our students with faith, wisdom, compassion, and joy. His presence has been a blessing to so many, and the impact he has made on our school will be felt for years to come.
While it is difficult to say goodbye, we are excited for this next chapter in his journey as he becomes the priest of his own parish. Please join us in thanking Father Warren for his dedication, prayers, and unwavering support of our students and families. We will miss him dearly, but we are also praying for him as he begins this new mission. May God continue to bless and guide him in all that lies ahead.
Thank you, Father Warren. You will always be a cherished part of our school family. Once a Hurricane, Always a Hurricane.
