Distributing the weight of the extensions across more rows actually protects your natural hair and scalp by reducing the amount of weight your natural hair has to hold on each row.

This is one of my clients with extremely fine hair and lower density, so more rows is the best way for her to safely wear extensions for added length and fullness.
