Nope! It’s actually quite simple, but when you’re ready to switch up your look, you’ll want it out immediately. So we have you pick 2 because wedding day is a bunch of fun, beautiful chaos and someone is always busy doing something, so we teach 2 so someone is around to help you when you are ready!
So are you wearing a veil? What length?! We love a beautiful blusher or bird cage too!

1. We build your custom wedding day hair and makeup schedule for your special day to ensure all 4 hours we are with you run smoothly but we do need everyone’s help to stay on time! Yes we do build in buffer time cause we know life happens, but if everyone is ready to go, we typically run early and that leaves you time to chill & breathe or have one more 🥂mimosa!
Our artists try to let everyone know when they’re almost finished so you can go grab snack, a drink, use the restroom, change your outfit, grab your hair piece, etc., anything you need to do so once you sit in the chair, you can relax and enjoy your service!
2. Please be respectful of the brides wishes. We will do our best to make you feel your most confident self while still aligning with the brides wishes. We have worked along side the bride for weeks and sometimes months (or even years!) to help her create the look of their special day.
3. Trusting the process can be a scary thing! We understand! Sometimes things get a little wild before you reach your destination. It’s okay to ask your artist questions! We are always happy to explain and educate. It’s fun for us! But please trust us as we see the vision and take you on a beautiful ride to your final look.

❗️Fun fact: We didn’t!
Bella was actually founded by Amy Burrafato back in 2007! Both Kennedy & I came onto the Bella team in 2016. Kennedy as an assistant with a fire in her soul & myself as a solo artist with a few years experience.

Kennedy’s attention to detail was & still is immaculate! Kennedy would have makeup brushes & hair tools ready for the artist before the artist even knew that’s what she needed next! Which then lead to Kennedy’s rapid growth in her career. Once she achieved her cosmetology license she was off & running with the best of the best. Though some doubted her young age, she proved her professionalism & skill level time & time again & captured the hearts of many. As years went on, her hair & makeup skills only grew stronger.

I was a solo wedding artist mainly focusing on hair & beginning to find my footing in the wedding makeup world. I had done my first preview in cosmetology school in 2012 & then the wedding shortly after graduating & quickly fell in love with the wedding industry. I knew I wanted to continue growing & was lead in the direction of “this team” that was looking for another artist. It was friends at first site! Amy helped me grow my makeup skills to new heights along the way & I began enjoying learning more of the business end & how she made it all work.

In 2024, Amy was ready to retire from the wedding industry & focus her time & energy on EmpowHer Salon + Extension Lounge as that company was rapidly growing, but she also wasn’t ready to close up shop on her first baby- Bella. So she began teaching Kennedy & I the behind the scenes of Bella Wedding Beauty.

Though at times our heads were spinning, we put in the hours, the calls, texts, emails, the late nights & everything in between to uphold the Bella name. There have been changes & shifts as any business would under new ownership, but we still strive to keep the core of Bella the same- to create an elevated, inclusive wedding beauty experience where every person feels confident, celebrated, & completely cared for with exceptional artistry with genuine connection so every client can relax, feel beautiful, & fully enjoy their day.
