Happy Birthday, Britta! 🎂🎈

I was pretty excited because I thought I had pulled off the surprise of a lifetime. I worked hard to get her cake, balloons, and what I thought was a once-in-a-lifetime celebrity appearance…

Judging by her reaction, she wasn’t nearly as surprised as I was hoping.

I guess that’s the problem when you’re trying to buy something for someone who already has everything.

In all seriousness, I'm incredibly grateful to have Britta as a partner of the Wooster Barber Company. Her hard work, dedication, and willingness to put up with me day after day doesn't unnoticed. She helps make this shop what it is, and we’re lucky to have her.

Six years ago, we opened the doors to Wooster Barber Co. in the middle of one of the most uncertain times imaginable. Starting a small business during Covid wasn’t exactly the “safe” route, but thanks to this community, it turned into something more than we ever could’ve imagined.

Over the last 6 years, we’ve been fortunate enough to win Best of the Best every single year we’ve been nominated, and that still blows us away. But honestly, the awards are just a bonus.

The real reward has been the people. So many customers have become friends, and this shop has become more than just a place to get a haircut. It’s become a community we’re proud to be part of every single day.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, sat in our chairs, told their friends about us, laughed with us, trusted us, and helped keep this thing going. We truly wouldn’t be here without you.

Here’s to 6 years — and hopefully many more.

Hey everyone, this is Max from Wooster Barber Company.

My mom passed away peacefully yesterday evening.

She was everything to me, and losing her has been incredibly hard. I’m grateful I was able to be there with her, and I’m trying to take time with my family right now.

I truly appreciate all of your patience, understanding, and kindness through the cancellations and changes—it means more to me than I can say.

I also want to thank Britta and Tom for stepping up and being there for me through all of this. I’m lucky to have them.

There will be no walk-ins this week, and my availability will be limited.
