The Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to the upcoming Wooster Area Safety Council meeting on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. We are pleased to welcome Michelle McConnell, MSPA-C, a Physician Assistant with the Wooster Heart Group (Wooster Community Hospital Health System), who will present critical insights on managing workplace heat stress.

Attendees will learn how to identify the signs of heat-related illnesses and implement effective prevention strategies to safeguard their workforce during peak summer conditions.

The Wooster Chamber was thrilled to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the new Arts Park and FabLab at Wayne Center for the Arts! ✂️🎉

Designed with the community in mind, this incredible new space is a place to create, learn, explore, and connect. The FabLab expands access to industrial and fabrication arts, offering opportunities to explore woodworking, welding, stained glass, fused glass, metalworking, and more. Connected to the FabLab, the new outdoor Arts Park and amphitheater will host performances, demonstrations, family programming, and creative community events throughout the year.

This exciting addition is more than a new building—it's an investment in creativity, education, and community. Congratulations to everyone at Wayne Center for the Arts on bringing this vision to life! A special thank you to Bogner Construction Company, the construction manager on this project, for helping make this incredible community space a reality.
