I owe it to barbering. It changed who I am, it changed my outlook, and it changed my future. Forever grateful.

There’s a difference between working in a barbershop and being a barber. A barber is somebody that devotes their life to the craft. A person who is on point every time they step behind the chair. And not just with their skills. On point with their appearance, with their presence, with their conversation, with their service. People go to the barbershop to get taken care of, to shut their brain off for a while, to forget about the bu****it world we live in. The barbershop is a sanctuary for some. As barbers we may cut 10,15,20 people a day, but for our clients they may only get a haircut once a week, once a month, or once a year, so that 30 minutes to an hour that they spend in your chair means a lot to them, never forget that. Every service you give, make sure it means something and bring it every single client. Be there for your clients, for your co-workers, for yourself. Don’t just cut hair, be a barber. 💈

5 years ago today I graduated barber school. Throughout the years I stacked my plate full and I worked my ass off to achieve what I wanted. Nothing was giving to me, but it was earned. Barbering isn’t for everyone. You have to be obsessed in order to make it. This industry isn’t for lazy people. This industry isn’t for people who like sleeping. You have to say yes when all you wanna do is say no. Because if you’re not grinding, somebody else is. But that’s what makes me love it so much. Sometimes I feel way in over my head but when I get myself out it makes it that much sweeter. It’s a beautiful industry and I couldn’t picture myself doing anything else. I met all the right people and said yes at the right opportunities to get to where I am. I never take a second to look back at what I’ve done but today I can. I can give myself some praise on days like that today. 5 years in and I own two barbershops. I couldn’t be more proud of myself. Hard work always wins, especially with the right people in your corner. So thank you all for the continued support. Truepenny Forever.

Barber content isn’t my thing, but here’s a haircut.
Extremely fortunate and grateful for times like this. Tonight I’m setting up backstage at Madison Square Garden to cut hair for a huge music group that is headlining at MSG these next 3 nights. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to cut hair at one of the most famous venues in the world. Everything is very surreal right now, but these are the opportunities I live for.

Another lap around the sun. Another chapter closed. Another Chapter begins.
I’m extremely grateful for this past year. So many great memories, so many opportunities taken, so much accomplished. All while being surrounded by the greatest people. I’ve been very fortunate these last handful of years. Every year has seemed to get better than the last since I decided to take hold of my life and live it how I wanted. That being said I can’t wait to see where this upcoming year takes me, I’m not letting off the gas anytime soon, I promise. Cheers to Larry Bird #33.

2023 was the best year yet. I’ve climbed to new heights I never thought I could, but I promise you I’m not done climbing. I’ve been waiting for 2024 for a while now. The number 24 has always held a lot of weight in my life so I’m stoked to see what this year brings. Onward and upward as always.

Cutting hair at events is always cool, but when you’re surrounded by Harley Davidsons, whiskey, and a bunch of rad people it makes it so much cooler. Thanks again to for having at your event, we had an absolute blast.
