Looking through pictures from the last 2 years. Geez, alots changed. My kids got older and taller, my mom lost weight, my girl is still by my side , I got my cosmetology license and she pushed and gave me the confidence to color her hair. I started a trash removal business. I signed 2 additional leases , I renovated the shop and made sure it looked like nothing in my city let alone my neighborhood. TODAY, makes 10 years since I moved Main Event Barbershop from its original location in West Boylston to the neighborhood I grew up in. 10 years....10 years since I opened up in MY NEIGHBORHOOD, MY BLOCK, where I'm from. Not somewhere else... not a neighborhood I aimed to live at or thought was nicer than mine. Right smack dab where I'm from SUCCESSFULLY.

I was born in Tacoma... the bricks not Washington, lived all over the city, but raised in the West. Excuse me for a moment, while I take these next few weeks to celebrate my motherf**kin self as I should. It may look cocky, it may read like it's arrogant... but if you've read this far... you have no idea the sacrifices I made to put it all together. I never took a gamble and planned to lose. Bet against me if you want... you gonna lose your money every time.
