Lived-in blonde, glass finish, zero fuss. This one spoke for itself. šŸ¤

If I had to pick the #1 question I get behind the chair it would be this.

ā€œHow often should I wash my hair?ā€
And I get it because for YEARS we were told dry shampoo was the answer and that washing too often was basically the enemy.

But here’s the truth šŸ‘‡šŸ¼
Shampoo is for your scalp—not just your hair.

Your scalp is where your hair grows from. If it’s not clean and balanced, your hair isn’t getting the best chance to thrive.

And no…you can’t ā€œtrainā€ your scalp to produce less oil. You can only respond to what it needs.

I think the whole ā€œwash lessā€ movement came from trying to preserve color (especially when vivid/fashion shades were everywhere). And while that made sense in that context, it doesn’t apply to everyone.

My advice?
Wash your scalp when it needs it.
Not based on a rule. Not based on a trend.

Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp, period.

POV: You’re a long-haired curly girl… and slightly panicking I’m about to take off way too much length šŸ˜…

(But don’t worry, we’re keeping the inches, just upgrading the shape āœ‚ļøāœØ)

Frizz, dullness, and waves that just… stopped waving? I see this all the time.

A lot of the time it’s not your hair ā€œchangingā€ — it’s buildup, hard water, and a shape that’s no longer supporting your natural pattern.

So we reset:
- refined the shape
- gently clarified to remove buildup
- deep conditioned for moisture and bounce

And just like that… soft, shiny, defined waves that still feel like your hair.

Healthy texture > forced texture. Always.

This is my natural texture.
No brush styling. No scrunching. No pixie diffusing.
Just wash, condition, detangle + Curl Revive.

I LOVE seeing so many people embrace their curls lately. Truly. It’s beautiful. But if I’m being honest… I think somewhere along the way, we may have overcomplicated it.

Routines got longer.
Product lists got bigger.
Expectations got higher.

And for a lot of people? All that effort lasts a day… maybe two.

Here’s the thing—my curls aren’t super glossy or ultra-defined. They never have been. That’s not the hair I have, and that’s okay.

Not every curl needs to look ā€œperfectā€ to be good.

A lot of us started wearing our natural texture because blowouts felt like too much work… and somehow we ended up right back there again, just in a different way.

So consider this your permission slip:
your hair doesn’t have to be styled to the max to be worthy.

Sometimes letting your hair just be your hair is enough šŸ¤

A year of curly extensions… and look at her natural curls now. šŸ‘€āœØ

One of the biggest myths I hear is that extensions ruin your hair. The truth is, when they’re installed and maintained correctly, they can actually protect your natural curls while they grow.

For the past year we focused on:
low-tension installs
proper maintenance
keeping the natural curls hydrated and supported

So when the extensions came out…
her natural curls were longer, fuller, healthier, and shinier than when we started.

Extensions don’t just create length — they can also create the environment for healthier hair growth.

Save this if you’ve ever wondered if curly extensions can work with your natural curls. ✨

I was supposed to be filming haircut content… but when your client hasn’t been in for months and needs ALL the updates, the expressions are just too good not to keep rolling. The tea was steeped. The layers were layered. Everyone wins.

These waves came to me about a year to go, over processed, no dimension, fragile. Now they are full of life and absolutely stunning. Trust the process.
