As we approach what would have been Jace’s 7th birthday, I realize that even as the years pass and my other children grow, that I never will be be “over” this loss.

I’m having a hard time this year. I’ve been finding it hard to even manage this page as my explore page is filled with moms just like me. The trauma of losing a perfectly healthy baby will forever be with me.

I don’t share my story looking for sympathy but I do ask for kindness. If you know a mother who was robbed of her child, please be kind. Give her all the time she needs but understand that she may never be the same person you knew before her loss.
