Ten things I’d tell my 25 year old self while starting a business ⬇️

1. Two words - work ethic - don’t ever forget them, they are what got you to this point

2. Your dad is going to be right a lot of the time - remember what he taught you “never accept no”

3. Morals over Money, always.

4. Not everyday is going to be your best day. And not everyday you’ll be your best self. It’s Okay. Try again tomorrow

5. Grandpa taught you a lot too - never ask someone to do a job that you wouldn’t do yourself

6. Take a moment. Shut your eyes. And embrace even the smallest victories

7. Remember why you started. It was never for a title or job description, it was always for others

8. There is a nothing that a call to your mom can’t fix

9. You won’t get where your going without the people in your corner - always make sure they feel appreciated

10. You are going to have some very stressful, chaotic, but truly fulfilling years ahead - challenge yourself to love and cherish every second of it

Opening both Kalon locations over the past 3 years has been incredibly humbling, powerful, (let’s get real) pretty challenging…. But ultimately has given me so much purpose!

I split my time between both locations (they are both too good not to!)

With a clientelle that consists mostly of blondies!

I could foil all day long 👏🏻
(I mean, I pretty much do!)

I love transitioning my client’s hair through the seasons, events, and all of life’s stages

When I’m not obsessing over how I have “the best job in the world”

(But truly I do 🥰)

… I’m probably at one of my favorite Columbus gyms, buying tickets to my next country concert, or probably (definitely) ordering something (unnecessary) off of Amazon!

This year I became

•a Fiancé (shoutout to all my 2024 brides 💍)
•a step mommy -to- be
•a salon owner of *15* incredible stylists (and growing!)

It has been a super fun & exciting time in my life!
