• Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice
• Avoid shaving for at least 2–3 weeks before your appointment
• Exfoliate a few days before, but not the day of
• Wear loose clothing after your wax
• Stay away from heat, sweat, swimming, and sun for 24–72 hours

Don’t schedule your first wax appointment right before big plans like a vacation, wedding, or special event! Your skin may be more sensitive the first time, so it’s best to get on a consistent waxing routine before those important days.

With summer right around the corner, remember to give your skin time to calm down after your appointment. Wait 48–72 hours before swimming and avoid things that can irritate the skin like:

• ☀️ Sun exposure
• 🏃‍♀️ Heavy exercise / sweating
• 👖 Tight clothing
• 🔥 Heat, sweat, and friction

Giving your skin the proper aftercare helps prevent irritation and keeps your results smooth and happy!
