At one point in my life, the only way I could convince myself to go into a room full of people I didn’t know, was if I knew how to get OUT of the room. I realised I was scared. I needed an escape route. I needed to leave when I wanted to. So clocking that door, was my 🔑✨ Do you ever get scared walking into a room full of people? Overwhelmed by the chaos of chatter. And people. And the new space itself? It can be a bit much can’t it 🙈 It’s ok. It’s ok to feel like that. It’s normal. We ALL feel it. Everyone handles it differently. We ALL want to feel safe, so we can be our best selves. SAFE SPACE. How do I make myself feel safe, in this space? 1. Set your intentions, darling. Why are you going into the space? What do you want to get out of the experience? Are you looking for your new bestie? Are you looking for like minded creative collaborators? Be around people enjoying the same passions and hobbies as you? 2. Get to know the space. Maybe get there early if it’s a new address. Where is the venue? Do they have a website with pictures so you know what to expect when you get there? 3. Look up. Take your eyes off the ground. If you make eye contact with someone, Say Hi Don’t hold yourself back from your own greatness. Get out there. Today is the start of the rest of my life! I have now done this 3 times over with the first two not working out. I'm so thankful for everything and everyone who is part of this journey and so excited where Night Shift Nails goes. My heart is whole. 🥰🥹

Big things are happening!

Today, I clocked out of for the last time. This has been a long time coming, but I'm so happy with the little family that I built there and cannot wait for the future that Night Shift Nails and Elite will have.

A day late and 20 lbs heavier. Now we run in and out of stores and mall (and get our nails done) for Christmas cheer on this black Friday!

Happy National Entrepreneurs Day! I'm so blessed to live in a place and be in a headspace to start a business 🙌. Yes, there is risk. Yes, there is fear, but there is "no good time to start a business." Just start, and you will find that your life will forever be changed!
