5 week post op update:
After 5+ months of my thumb and wrist being fully immobilized in hard splints im FREEEEE (ish)!!!
My thumb is extremely stiff and eveything is insanely tight and i cannot bend it at all even trying with all my might lol but hopefully the exercises help and I’ll be starting therapy hopefully next week.
I have to do scar tissue massages and use scar tape over night. I will have a soft sleeve brace also as needed.
If i cannot get in with my office for therapy send me recs for certified hand therapists !
