Slowly getting back to work.

The wild man has finally left the building. 9 months without a haircut while I’ve been recovering from major back surgery.

Good thing this happened now as I found a tick stuck onto the back of his head. Carefully removed, identified as a female dog tick so probably not carrying a disease. Will have to monitor closely for a few days.

It’s almost Easter! Enjoy the time!

I’m still recovering slowly and hope to be back to work part time in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, I’m knitting for Easter. And no this isn’t my work but I sure plan on making it one of these days. It’s just too adorable not to.

Halloween advice for parents: throw away your brushes.

We’re calling this the “Flo” cut for Flo Lorenz. It’s such a great cut for both these women. Priscilla, I was pleased to be able to cut your hair one more time!

To all my loyal and wonderful customers, it’s that time again for another surgery. It’s been 11 years since my last back fusion and though I knew the time would come for another, it sure came up fast.

August 11 is my surgery date. This will mean a 6 week intense period of recovery and then 6-12 months for full recovery.

I will be stopping work (most likely) around August 1. There’s lots to do in preparation. I’m working hard to freeze meals, clean house and remove obstacles so that wheelchairs and walkers can get around easily.

I can’t say exactly when I’ll be back to work. I’ll miss you all. Please call and say hi, bring food, stop in to visit or just text and wish me well. I’ll be housebound for a couple of months.
