I don’t know if many in our community are aware just how close to home yesterday’s shooting at the Bite of Seattle was.

One of our longtime and amazing community members (and my client and friend of many years), Sandra, lost her husband, Carlos, to yesterday’s violence.

Not only was Carlos a loving husband and father of three young children, he was also the primary financial provider for his family. Sandra is now left with funeral expenses and the burden of supporting her family during this incredibly difficult time.

I asked for Sandra’s permission to share this GoFundMe with our community in the hopes that we can come together to help a family facing such a tragic and unexpected loss.
