Even the most repressed woman has a secret life, with secret thoughts and secret feelings which are lush and wild, that is, natural.

Even the most captured woman guards the place of the wildish self, for she knows intuitively that someday there will be a loophole, an aperture, a chance, and she will hightail it to escape.

Tis the season!

As the Autumn Equinox approaches, you will see an influx of videos, graphics, and posts online reference the observation as “Mabon”.

This term is often used without ever an explanation attached as to why many modern day pagans refer to their equinox celebrations as such. In my latest video I explore exactly who Mabon is, and why it has become associated with a celebration on the neopagan Wheel of the Year.

Spoiler: It’s a very modern name for the celebration, and may not be as appropriate of a name for it as many think!

Beyond all that I also explore who Mabon is from His actual cultural context.
