Time at Rumors Salon is coming to a close. Thanks to the State of Pa and eminent domain.

My mom converted this salon from a tuxedo store to a place many have patronized and called their work home.. . From the beginning.. my mom always lead with the idea of creating a salon space where everyone felt welcome.. comfortable and most of all beautiful. I think mom would have been proud of how we all carried her legacy on.

Cheers to this chapter .. so many amazing clients and co workers that will forever be family!!

This season we are supporting The York Cancer Patient Help fund. This fund helps support cancer patients with cost that are not covered by insurance. Rent, utilities, transportation to name a few.. they also provide goodie bags to help patients as they undergo chemo Our giving tree has items such as hand lotion, fuzzy socks, hand sanitizer, word searches and the list goes on. The support stays local. Please stop by and participate with us. .

REMINDER: Closure Planned for Route 462 (Market Street) Bridge Over Mill Creek in Springettsbury

The closure of the Route 462 (Market Street) Bridge in Springettsbury and Spring Garden townships, York County, begins at 6:00 AM on September 27 (previously scheduled for midnight).

An approximately one-and-a-half-month detour will be in place while the existing bridge is demolished, and the new bridge is constructed on an accelerated schedule. The bridge is now expected to remain closed until early November.

A detour will be in place using N. Sherman Street, Route 30, and N. Hills Road.

This project consists of the replacement of the bridge, approach work, guide rail updates, drainage work, ramp re-alignment, signal upgrades, and other miscellaneous construction.

Clearwater Construction, Inc., of Mercer, PA, is the prime contractor on this $6,379,000 project. Work is expected to be completed by the spring of 2023
