Hello my darlings. I wanted to share something on the personal side with you in regards to cancellations. If you’re a current customer you know that unfortunately my knees both need to be replaced and this means I am only able to work 3 days per week. Now I know things come up that are out of our control but PLEASE give me as much notice as possible if you can’t make an appointment or want to delay your service. It’s very hard to fill these spaces in only a few days and it leads to lost income for me. I’d like to continue avoiding the deposit and cancellation fee trend that’s taken over the industry in the last decade.

Attention to anyone I’ve booked in the last two weeks. My booking software was having trouble figuring out timezones. Jamaica doesn’t do daylight savings so please contact me for confirmation or refer to the time sent by the software. I was telling you an hour before what it said and it switched back when I returned to Pa. Sorry for the confusion. Technology is dumb!

I shared my hair washing instructions with a client recently who said it was a complete game changer for her. davinesofficial products are the best I’ve ever worked with in my 23 years behind the chair. I’ve been loyal to them since 2015. So let’s talk about how to get the most out of our investment.
Professional products are HIGHLY concentrated so a little goes a LONG WAY! These are the instructions for an average amount of hair. Increase or decrease amount depending on hair density, but start small.
•wet your hair and use a quarter size amount of shampoo and work through the hair. It most likely WONT LATHER. This first attempt is just breaking up the dirt.
•rinse and repeat your shampoo with a quarter size amount. It should lather but if it doesn’t don’t fret, just repeat the step and you’ll get it the third time ;) When you get that good lather THIS is when you wash the dirt away.
•apply conditioner

1st shampoo breaks up the dirt. 2nd one washes it away. There ya have it. Don’t be afraid to invest in the good stuff folks. It’s worth it and it lasts. And we have refill options to conserve plastic and dollars.
