Good morning everyone. It is with a heavy heart I am reaching out to let you all know I will be closing my shop as of Monday December 4th. I have been in the hair business for 26 years and I need a change. my co-worker Morgan has decided to pursue her full-time job and step away from doing hair. she has been amazing to work with and has made every day at the shop a joy. I couldn't imagine working with a better hair dresser that has now become one of my best friends. I wish her nothing but the absolute best in everything she does! With that being said I cannot afford the rent at my shop on my own. but I feel like this was the push I needed to pursue some of the other dreams that I have!
You all mean so much to me. I have enjoyed our conversations, laughs, cries , jokes & everything in between! You all have made my life so fulfilling! You have touched my heart more than you know!❤
I will be at my shop today till 7pm & Saturday till 10am if you would like to stop by. Thankyou for all your support over the years❤

I cannot believe my baby girl is graduating!!! It has been quite the journey watching her growing up to become such an amazing, caring beautiful young woman. I am beyond proud of her, she has overcome so many obstacles in the last couple years. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for her! & I cannot wait to celebrate her! ❤

I will most likely be closing the shop on Wednesday due to flooding!

A Borough Declaration of Emergency is issued and will be in effect tomorrow, Tuesday August 31, 2021 at 10PM.

The Emergency declaration is based on the anticipated heavy rains of 6 or more inches that may cause flash flooding in areas of the Borough.

Due to the anticipated flooding, the following streets need to be cleared of parked vehicles by Tuesday, August 31st at 10 pm. We encourage moving vehicles as soon as possible.

N. Adams Street between Orange St. and Stanton St.

N. Highland Avenue between Filbert St and W. Market St.

Stanton St. from N. Highland Ave. to N. Pearl Street

W. Philadelphia St. from N Highland Ave. to N. Pearl St.

W. Clarke Ave. from N. Highland Ave. to N. Pearl St.

N. Pearl from Stanton Street to Market Street

Market St. from N. Highland Ave. to Dewey St.

Dewey St from W. Market St. to St. Paul Alley

Overbrook Ave. from W. Market St. to St. Paul Alley

W. King St. from Herman to Dewey St.

Poplar Street 1100 block to the city line.

Vehicles can be parked at the Borough’s Public Works facility on King Street and in the upper parking lot at Slagle Park.

If you're elderly or ill and are unable to move your vehicle please call 717-846-8889 or 717-542-7591. Furthermore, if you're reliant on medical life supporting equipment and need help during a power outage call 911 and we can assist.

Hello everyone! I hope your all staying healthy! Shutdown for us has been extended till May 8th. Hopefully we will be reopened shortly after that! We miss you all! & PLEASE be nice to your hair! 😉🤣🤣

Hopefully I will be opened back up in May! As of now I'm shut down until April 30th.😩😢 I miss all of my clients so much & my coworker Morgan! Please bare with us when we do get back to work. It will take us awhile to get everyone caught up. I hope everyone stays healthy!

I am posting this with a very heavy heart this evening. Yesterday we lost a very special, caring & loving man, George Tutino. He has become such a very special part of my life over the past 13 years. He has helped me succeed to where I am today. He has looked out for me as a father figure in so many ways. His family has included me as part of their family since the very start. It's going to be very tough walking into my shop which was once his for so many years & not breaking down. Just please bear with me. He will be very greatly missed but he is with God now & not suffering anymore. I'm asking for everyone to please pray for George's family & keep them in your prayers.

The viewing will be held on Monday January 6th at John W. Keffer Funeral Home on West Market St. from 5 to 8pm.
