And if you’ve never been to Barberama, what a better way to check the place out, book a holiday appointment, and sign up for our email list and get a $5 GIFT CARD!

Photos are $10. You’ll take home a small Polaroid copy of your photo and will be emailed a digital copy.

Furry friends are welcome to meet Santa Paws too! But we ask that you only bring them on December 14.

It has not been an easy year here at MRB. Staffing shortages, a major illness affected Kevin, one of our beloved workhorses (he’s dealing and on the mend!)-but if you know us, you know all this.

And despite all this you came to get your hair done in droves. You stuck with us, waiting on us, praying and caring for us.

This nomination means a lot more than ever, and it belongs to you as much as us.

We’re kinda low-key on social media, so if we’re posting…something big must be going on.
It is. On this day in 1962 Nick Sciortino opened a “modern barbershop” with 3 chairs and one barber. 60 years and several chairs and dozens of barbers and beauticians later, we’re still going.
How? Here’s Nick’s secret to success, followed by us ever since:

Charge a fair price for a great product, and treat people the way you want to be treated.

You could do that and still fail-there are no guarantees. However, people showed up, and generations continue to show up. For that you have our gratitude.

Heads up!
We will be CLOSED Saturday JULY 2 so we can enjoy an extended holiday weekend with our family and friends.
We hope you all have a great 4th and see you Tuesday when we will be open regular business hours!

ANNOUNCEMENT
Starting in November, if you want this talented stylist (who is busy busy busy!) to cut your hair on WEDNESDAYS, you’ll need to schedule with her!

Heather will start taking appts on Wednesdays only starting November 3rd. She will be still be available for walk-ins all other days. You can schedule with her by calling the shop (717)843-7522 or sending us a message here.

Otherwise we always have walk-in barbers available during regular business hours.

I know that this a huge surprise Yorkers, but there’s roadwork being done.
Heads up if you have an appt or coming to get your hair done FRIDAY or SATURDAY. Mt. Rose Avenue will be completely closed in front of Mt. Rose Cemetery.
You can still access Mt Rose from the Hill street intersection, and get to our shop.
