Grief is like living two lives...

I never believed that these feelings would change. I thought it would stay this way until I leave this life

It did change. So slow that I didn’t see or feel it happening. No longer screaming in silence. No more hiding in the bathroom so no one sees your tears

No more pretending

We do move forward.
We have changed.
We are brave.
We live and laugh and love again. Without guilt

I learned a long time ago that it’s ok to fall. That’s love. Always getting back up. With their guidance and love along the way

Hurricane Ian update: Bob and I stayed in Rehoboth during the hurricane, so we’re safe and sound.
We’re planning to go to Sarasota in a few days.

We’ve heard from our neighbors in Sarasota that our unit is fine. The community lost a few carports. Thankfully there’s no structural damage to the buildings and no one suffered any injuries.

Hope everyone is safe. Here’s a side note we are enjoying retirement. The only regret is we miss seeing everyone’s smiling face. Stay safe and enjoy. Some pictures of our trip to Iceland and Greenland in August. It was fantastic!!!

There are a few announcements the staff of 2520 hair salon needs to make.

First it’s with great sadness that I inform you that we lost one of our valued staff members, Pam Long, our front desk manager. I’m not sure if we have fully realized the impact of Pam’s passing it was so unexpected and happened so quickly.

Secondly Bob is about ready to embark on a new career. He is retiring after 45 years behind the chair. His last day is December 23. We hope he’s as successful with his new endeavor as he was with his hair career.  Hopefully his new endeavor last as long and gives him as much pleasure.

The staff at 2520 was attempting to throw Bob a surprise retirement party on Saturday, December 18 unfortunately with Covid on the rise we are not going to be able to have that celebration at this time. We will plan some thing when we’re all able to get together in the great outdoors. So look for an announcement sometime in the spring.

If the staff was able to contact you and extend an invitation m, we will be reaching out to again this week to confirm this cancellation.

First it is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of one of our staff members, Pam Long our front desk manager. I don’t think we have even truly absorbed the reality of Pam’s loss. It was so unexpected.

Secondly Bob has decided to try his hand at a new endeavor RETIREMENT!! His last day working behind the chair is December 23rd. We are all very excited for Bob and are sure he will be just as successful with his new endeavor as he has been with his salon. Hopefully his retirement lasts as long or longer than his previous career, 45 years in the business!!

The staff at 2520 Hair Salon were busy trying to throw a surprise retirement party for Bob on Saturday December 18th. Unfortunately COVID is on the rise and we think it would be a better idea to have this celebration when we can get together in the great outdoors. So if the staff was able to contact you to extend you an invitation to the event I’m sorry that I’m informing you that it is canceled.
