Lucy - a puppy mill survivor's story
Lucy was a commercial puppy mill breeder dog living in a barn in the middle of a field. When she was rescued she was found in a wire crate with six other dogs; crates were stacked on top of each other. The barn had no heat or air conditioning, and the dogs were exposed to the extreme heat and cold. Lucy, like many of the dogs, was malnourished and weighed half

Did you know we just might be the last generation to experience fireflies...aka lighting bugs? That made me sad so I decided to make collars.

Our dogs let a possum in the house. Don't worry Pearl (we named her) made it out alive 🤣 so we had to honor her with a collar.

WE DID IT.❤️ Today is a landmark day. Ridglan Farms is permanently closing. And today, 325 beagles are entering our rescue.

In six weeks, we will welcome the remaining 150 puppies, completing the final release of dogs from the facility. With these arrivals, the total number of beagles rescued from Ridglan Farms will reach an extraordinary 2,110 dogs.

This is more than a rescue.

This is the closing of a facility that housed thousands of beagles and the culmination of a commitment to ensure every remaining dog would have a future.

Today, history was made. 🇺🇸🐶💙

Ridglan Farm (former hell hole where they ran experiments on Beagles) is closed all the dogs are FREE. Thanks to the all the rescue folks involved. Not sure if people realize but rescue volunteers don't get paid, they have jobs, families and their own stuff they deal with but they keep going. They see the worst of humans and they keep going. Some of these volunteers who rescued the beagles are facing jail time (up to 30years) but they keep going ❤ and going and going. They are a lifeline for these dogs. RockStars!
