Save this one for later. I’m demonstrating 5 different ways to curl your hair using a 1 inch curling iron. Here’s a further breakdown of instruction for each curl 👉🏻 👍🏻 Volume Curl: Subsection the hair horizontally and hold the iron horizontally. Start in the middle of the strand, turn the iron, open and close the clasp to feed ends in. You start in the middle of the strand because it needs more heat to curl, and the ends need less heat (if any heat). 👍🏻Lengthening Curl Do you like the look of curled hair but feel your hair looks so much shorter? Then you need to use this technique. Take a vertical section and hold your iron vertical. Start at the mid strand, open and close the clasp to feed the ends in. Do you see how this curl looks longer than the volume curl? 👍🏻 Beachy Curl Take a vertical section and hold your iron vertical. Start at the top of the strand (closest to the head). Turn your iron 2 times. Then, twist the iron. Continue this pattern until you get to the bottom. 👍🏻 Soft curl You choose if you want a vertical or horizontal section, and if you want to hold the iron vertical or horizontal. If you want more volume, choose horizontal. If you want it not as wide, but more long, choose vertical. Slide the iron to the ends and roll up. Hold for 3-5 seconds. 👍🏻 Wave This one gets a little tricky, but follow me. The section is horizontal and the iron is horizontal. Release the slack in the hair, hold the curling iron upside down, pull the strands coming out of the iron to the left. Gently open and close the iron, or even “press” the hair against the barrel with the iron slightly open. The goal is to apply enough heat to “stamp” the pattern in without causing a crease mark. Go one inch down the hair strand, have the iron right-side up, pull the strands coming out of the iron to the right. Repeat the pattern until you get to the ends. Jodi, same to me as a referral from another client. This wonderful lady has more hair than she should very heavy very much. She was very open to suggestions from the pictures you can see that I was able to thin out half of the hair that means we removed half of the hair by thinning.
