Let's talk about motivation... 💬
Of course, I'm motivated to ALWAYS make sure my guests look good and feel good. & I'm focused on becoming the best barber I can possibly be. But am I motivated all the time? NO, that's not the case.

Motivation is perishable. It exists sometimes, sure. But I'm not driven by motivation. I am driven by my hunger for success. You may ask why I always come in early and work so late? It's because I want to be the best. It's as simple as that. I will do as much as I possibly can, whether that's in the shop, gym, classroom, or budgeting.

Now, of course, I have things to work on, like my social media and others. But what I have learned over the years is that... In order to accomplish anything, you need to learn to create the right balance in distributing your energy into the right places. I know I am only one person, and I am by far the hardest on myself than I am on anyone else. It's simply because I have such an enate desire to be the best at anything I do. And I will do whatever it takes to make sure that I succeed. I will come in early, stay late, clean my entire shop by myself, teach myself how to budget and book keep, teach classes on my days off, and take classes whenever I possibly can.

NO ONE has given me any handouts. Of course, I have assisted many hard-working individuals and learned from their tactics. But trust me when I say no one did the haircuts for me, no one studied for me, no one stayed late to clean my stuff. All of my devoted clients have come to me and stayed with me based on what I have to offer, and that's an amazing service, a carefully edited approach to each and everyone of my people, and a look, attitude and conversation you can't find anywhere else. So, my clients can always have the confidence that I will provide consistency, confidentiality, and care.

I may not have posted my entire journey on social media. But instead, I have been working behind the scenes for years to not make promises I can't keep, but instead to be able to mold myself in darkness to then come to the light as a whole new person. So that I could insure you all would see someone you didn't recognize, but you couldn't ignore
