This was how my client showed up for her two week fill.. YES MAAM👏🏼👏🏼 love to see clients who are taking such great care of their lashes! Aftercare from clients is extremely important and expected.

Believe it or not, I actually had alot of lashes to fill in here! Just because your lashes are still appearing “full”, doesn’t mean you skip a fill. You should have atleast 40% of lashes left from your previous appointment at the time of your fill. Coming into a fill appointment with only a few extensions left on each eye (especially without a heads up) will result in being charged more than a fill price since I will be taking more time and using more product. A fill is NOT a full set.

Now, Let’s talk about shedding!

Did you know that you can lose between 2 and 5 natural lashes on each eye per day? (With or without extensions)

Eyelashes, just like the hair on your head, grow and shed in continuous cycles. While every person is unique - and factors like age, hormones, and medications will affect lashes and their cycles, there are commonalities among us all. It is because of this shedding cycle that I recommend coming in for fills every ~2 weeks. Let’s go over a few after care tips to keep those lashes healthy and clean between fills!

•Do not pick, tug, or pull at the lashes. Oils from your fingertips can transfer to your lashes, breaking down the adhesive a bit quicker.

•Cleanse your lashes daily!!! This is sooo important! There are a ton of affordable lash cleansers out there and I am always available to help educate you on how to cleanse them! It’s so satisfying🤩

•Avoid mascara, heavy eye makeup and any oil based products around the eye area.

•Try not to sleep on your face/ side so that you are not rubbing those eyes against the bed or pillows.

I hope this helps you understand lash shedding & aftercare a little bit more. These few tips will help prolong the lasting power of those lashes that haven’t yet shed. Feel free to ask me any other questions that may arise❤️
