Healthy lashes will always be the priority. 😮‍💨

The products we choose are just as important as the technique we use, which is why we trust the Borboleta Pro Lash Lift System.

Formulated with ingredients like hydrolyzed keratin, panthenol (Vitamin B5), and nourishing botanical extracts, it’s designed to help support the condition of the natural lashes throughout the lifting process—so they stay soft, conditioned, and beautifully lifted.

A great lash lift isn’t just about how your lashes look when you leave your appointment. It’s about using products that respect the health of your natural lashes every step of the way.

That’s a standard we’ll never compromise on. 🦋

It’s Not Talent—It’s Practice

After working with over 100 students, I’ve noticed a pattern.

The ones who succeed aren’t always the fastest learners. They are the ones who focus on building strong foundations.

They take their time, master the basics, and don’t rush ahead.

I had a student who struggled at first and even thought about quitting. Instead, they slowed down and focused on the fundamentals. After a few models and a little extra support , everything clicked, and they were solving problems they once found impossible.

No one is instantly talented with lashing.

It’s something you build from the ground up.

And strong foundations make everything easier.

What’s one foundational skill you’ve worked on that changed everything for you?

Can you guess what’s next ? 🤭

I walked out of my very first lash training clutching my kit and a head full of expectations, convinced I was ready for what came next. But somewhere between the excitement of finishing the class and the reality of working on my own, a sinking feeling set in: I wasn’t nearly as prepared as I thought.
That realization was frustrating, humbling, and honestly a little heartbreaking—but it became the turning point that shaped everything that followed.

I laugh about that now because, honestly, I left without knowing much of anything other than put a lash on a lash. 🤣

I quickly realized I was missing the deeper understanding and strong foundation I thought I’d gain, which is exactly why I spent the next few years taking course after course before I ever started teaching.

The truth is, my first training didn’t give me the confidence or knowledge I needed to feel truly prepared.

So I kept learning. ❤️

I invested in additional trainings, sought out different educators, and practiced relentlessly because I knew there were gaps I needed to fill. And I was able to pour all of that into my courses for beginner artists.

Looking back, I’m grateful for that experience because it taught me that growth doesn’t stop when class ends.

The artists who thrive aren’t necessarily the most talented. They’re the ones willing to keep learning long after training is over.

Growth isn’t usually some big, exciting breakthrough.

Most of the time it’s just doing the same thing over and over, even when you feel like you’re not improving.

It’s practicing.
Making mistakes.
Trying again.
And trusting that all those little efforts are adding up.

What’s something you once struggled with that now feels natural—and how did staying committed through the hard moments change you along the way?

I think one of the biggest myths we tell ourselves is:

“I’ll do it when I feel more confident.” 🫣

The problem is confidence rarely shows up first.

Most of the things I’ve accomplished in my career started before I felt ready.

Not because I was fearless.
Honestly, probably because I was delusional enough to just go for it.

Looking back, I definitely didn’t have all the answers, but I was willing to take the next step anyway and seek out the right resources, guidance, and education so I could do things the right way as I went.

Confidence usually shows up after you’ve done the thing you were afraid to do.

What’s something you’ve been putting off until you feel “ready”?

Natural but noticeable. 💁🏼‍♀️ That is the goal with classic lashes. People should think wow she looks so refreshed, and wonder what’s different. If you’ve been looking for lashes that feel and wear just like your lashes we’ve got you covered. Schedule your full set of with Baylie and never buy mascara again.

After 10 years of lashing, I’ve learned that the right tools make all the difference.

I’ve been using Borboleta Pro tweezers for years because they’re reliable, comfortable, and designed for precision.

-Consistent tension
-Precise pickup and placement
-Lightweight and comfortable
-Built to perform, day after day

When you’re lashing for hours at a time, quality matters.

My personal favs are the Flex OG Boot from the new Ergo Flex Collection and the OG Boot from the OG Collection, they both have earned a permanent spot in my salon.

If you’re looking for new reliable tweezers made by artists for artists use my code : Megan to try them out for yourself!

It’s wild how one decision can completely change the direction of your life.

When I signed up for my first lash class, I wasn’t looking to change careers. I wasn’t unhappy. I wasn’t searching for an exit plan.

I was simply learning something new.

What I didn’t realize at the time was how much that one little decision would end up changing.

I wasn’t thinking about owning a business.
I wasn’t thinking about teaching students.
I definitely wasn’t picturing a beautiful new location or the career I have now.

I was just taking a class.

Looking back, it’s kind of crazy to see where that one choice led me.

Has there been a moment like that in your life? A decision that seemed small at the time but ended up changing everything?
