This 39-year-old patient came to see Dr. Primeau after losing 150 pounds over several years. She had done the hard work of weight loss but was left with excessive loose skin that affected her confidence.

Dr. Primeau suggested a brachioplasty (commonly referred to as an arm lift) to remove and tighten the skin. The results speak for themselves.

An arm lift does typically require a long incision. The good news, however, is that the scar typically fades over the course of a year to 18 months and is often unnoticeable once healing is complete.
