✨ Gel X Nail Extensions✨

What are Gel X nail extensions?

✨ Gel-X extensions are specially formulated, soak-off gel tips that ensure long-lasting, three-plus weeks adhesion to a natural nail. It’s a fast and easy system that allows for removal to be simple with the use of just acetone. No dust, no odor, no excessive buffing or filing to the natural nail and no additional damage to the natural nail as they are adhered with gel.

How long do they last?

✨ Gel-X extensions “grow out” over the course of about 3-4 weeks. While acrylic extensions have a similar lifespan, the regrowth is much less noticeable with Gel-X because they’re thinner and don’t lift at the edges.

How are they removed?

✨ Proper removal is important to make sure your natural nail doesn’t get damaged. Gel-X nails are made from gel, so are removed just like a gel manicure – the top layer is broken with an electric file before being soaked off with acetone.

Hello ladies!!
Well, it’s been one wild year! But we are so happy to be back up and running since closing down. We know it’s been a stressful year for everybody so we definitely want to spoil you ladies a little extra this year!! ❤️ with that being said, we finally get to have our Mother’s Day extravaganza to celebrate all the mamas (and anybody filling in the mama roles out there)! As usual, we will hosting this event - May 8th and May 9th at both locations! We will be serving snacks, drinks and WINE/MARGARITAS. Yepp! We normally do not respond to anything on here nor we make a big deal out of unhappy customers because we are in the business of service and we know we can’t make everybody happy. But yesterday, we encountered a what could have been an easily solved problem that turned bizarre. We here, at Shangri La Nail Salon take stealing accusations seriously, we are all hard working people. We know what it’s like to work hard for your money and would be beyong upset too if someone stole our money too. So that’s why we feel like we have to stand up for our business and our workers. Yesterday was NOT that case. A young woman decided to slander our name on this page without even calling us to figure out the problem. She accused our technician and salon of stealing $5 dollars from her. She accused us of tipping ourselves more on credit card when she already did so in cash. We would like to say, that has never happened in our salon and that will never happen. We keep a list of customer names that comes through our salon, the name of technician that works on them and we also have audio/video recording at the receptionist table to ensure everybody’s safety. Last night we went through a weeks worth of video and receipts and finally found the copy of the real one. What she posted yesterday was not the real receipt nor was it even written with the same pen or even looked like the same handwriting. We also have the video clip of the young lady filling out the receipt herself - she never once gave cash. We are hurt by these accusations, and can’t believe why someone would stoop this low to harm Our reputaion.

We have been in Yukon for over 8 years. We survived the pandemic, We plan on staying here for a very long time. To the customers that have support us endlessly, we appreciate you more than you know. To the commenters that tried to help us and backed us help, we see you. We love Yukon, we only want to do our best and keep our customers happy. Please, if in the future, there is a problem - we will do our best to fix it.
