Hand, finger, and wrist tattoos are cute… but let’s talk about the reality of them.

✨ Why do they fade so fast?
Your hands are constantly working. Washing them, using lotions, being out in the sun, friction from everyday life.. it all causes tattoos in this area to fade faster than tattoos on other parts of the body. If your job requires frequent hand washing or heavy use of your hands, expect even more fading.

✨ Can you make them last longer?
Following your aftercare instructions is the best thing you can do. Just like any tattoo, the healing process plays a huge role in how your tattoo looks once it’s fully healed.

✨ Do they hurt?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but areas near the cuticles, finger creases, and the inside of the fingers tend to be the most sensitive.

✨ Are they worth it?
If you love dainty tattoos and understand that they may soften and fade over time… absolutely. 🤍

They’re beautiful, but they definitely require realistic expectations.
