Gov. Ducey orders barbers, salons to close by April 4 Gov. Doug Ducey has ordered barbers and salons to close by April 4, under newly released guidance on essential services.

I will no longer be seeing clients after this Thursday. I, like many of my fellow stylists and salon owners have hoped State Board, the Governor’s office, or local authorities would ask us to shut down. We have remained open out of the fear of losing clients. We do this because we love it, love you as clients, feel apart of the lives you share with us. Listen as you go through the best and worst parts of your life.
The virus took 67 days to infect the first 100,000, 11 to infect the second 100,000, 4 days to make it to 300,000. By the end of the day it will top 400,000. It’s no longer worth the risk to me, my family, and my clients.
