Hiiiii, I am Laura, the owner of Laura The Waxer LLC, a professional vageen (va-jeen) waxer of seven years. ✨

My Instagram has changed a lot over the past few years but it is still the same me behind it all. 🫶🏼

Here are some fun facts to get to know your favorite local waxer a little better…

- I am a Libra and very true to it. I’m very extroverted, creative, & love anything that catches beauty to the eye. 💓

- I’m currently 28 years old and a first-generation Mexican American.

- I speak English/Spanish both fluently. 🇲🇽

- I’m a Licensed Esthetician, Certified Makeup Artist, and I specialize in waxing mainly brazilians on women. 🪄

- I studied Journalism and Broadcasting for over a year here at AWC before I moved to Phoenix, Az to go to Esthetician School. 📚

- I am a self-taught makeup artist, my first love for the makeup world started in 2015 when “insta brows” was a thing. IFYKYK! 🤪

- I’ve been a Licensed Esthetician for seven years now and have enjoyed all paths in the beauty industry. 🫶🏼

- I love thrifting, eating ice cream, small road trips, concerts, romanticizing life as much as I can. 🎀

- I listen to pretty much any music genre, especially Mexican music like corridos/banda, country, & hip hop.🎵

- I found love 4 years ago and he’s the person I want to marry, I met the most sweetest & supportive man ever. 💘

- When I’m at home relaxing, you can catch me binging TV series or watching my favorite movies. Film is still very much in my heart although I never finished my degree. 🎥

- A cup of coffee warms my soul. I love coffee so-much! ☕️

- Small acts of kindness mean a lot to me, I absolutely love other kind humans. 🥹

- I am an open book, I love meeting new people and making new friendships. 💓

Three years ago today, I opened the doors to my small waxing studio. Although I was terrified of failing, I kept going and never gave up. It has been filled with lots of learning, stress, and struggle but I would not change a thing. I’m so happy I found the courage to go after my dreams and create employment for myself.

Thank you to all of my incredible clients for another successful year and especially those who have been with me since way before owning my own studio. y’all continue to come back to me and support me! I love all of my girlies + the ones that are waiting to be my client in the future! 🥹

Waxing season is here and in order to keep gorgeous glossy skin, let’s talk 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩-𝙬𝙖𝙭 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙨 ✨

• Keep your waxed skin clean, no touching or scratching
• Wear clean, loose clothing/underwear to avoid friction
• Avoid s*x or exercising for at-least 24 hours after treatment
• No hot showers or baths (use cool lukewarm water) to prevent irritation
• No hot tubs, saunas, pools, oceans, lakes, or rivers (screams bacteria)
• Wait 48 hours to start exfoliating the waxed area
• Exfoliate 3x a week + moisturize daily
• Sunbathing or fake tan beds are not allowed after waxing
• Schedule your next wax appointment every 4-6 weeks to stay consistent
