I’m so grateful to announce that Wild Rose Beauty Lounge, owned by my dear friend Lauren Jones, has officially joined the Lindsay’s Fine Line Ink Flood Relief Effort as a collaborating business and DONATION DROP ZONE for those affected by the devastating flooding in Crooksville, Roseville and surrounding communities.

We are continuing to follow the direction of Perry County Emergency Management Agency, who is overseeing the county’s response and coordinating donations and relief efforts.

Donations will be organized and directed to the locations designated by Perry County EMA — Perry County Health Department for general relief and Perry County Dog Shelter for animal relief.

I spoke directly with Perry County Emergency Management Agency regarding the devastating flooding affecting Crooksville, Roseville and surrounding communities.

Perry County EMA is overseeing and coordinating the county’s emergency response and working alongside relief partners, including the American Red Cross. With donations pouring in from everywhere, they are asking that efforts stay organized and supplies be directed where they are actually needed.

That is exactly what the Lindsay’s Fine Line Ink Flood Relief Effort will do. 🤍

This one hits incredibly close to home.

Crooksville isn’t just another little town on the map to me. It’s my hometown. It’s where I grew up, went to school, graduated, and where so many pieces of my story began.

Seeing the devastation from this flooding absolutely breaks my heart. There are families who have lost so much, and for some, recovering from this is going to be incredibly difficult.

Being so far away right now makes me feel a little helpless. My heart wants to be there, put my hands to work and DO something…but until I get home, my hands are somewhat tied.

What I can do is start planning. 🤍

When I return, I want to get 𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙖𝙮’𝙨 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙠 and this incredible community surrounding me involved in helping Crooksville.

I’m working on putting together a relief effort that could include collecting desperately needed supplies, helping specific families with their individual needs, and possibly in the near future hosting a tattoo fundraiser for Crooksville. I want to turn something I love doing into something that directly gives back to the town that helped raise me.

I don’t want this to simply be another post that gets shared and forgotten. I want us to actually HELP…And I need your help to make it happen.

For now, please pray for Crooksville. Pray for the families who have lost homes, belongings and pieces of their lives. Pray for our first responders, volunteers, businesses and every person working tirelessly to help this little community recover. 🙏🏼
