✨ WE’RE HIRING! — SALON ASSISTANT / FRONT DESK ✨

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our salon team in a long-term position!

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys people, likes keeping things clean and organized, and doesn’t mind a day that keeps you moving.

A typical day would include greeting and checking in clients, keeping the salon clean and tidy throughout the day, laundry and light cleaning, keeping client areas ready and welcoming, helping with our retail area and product inventory, checking in and stocking orders, and helping with other everyday salon tasks as needed.

You’ll also help me with some of the little things that are hard for me to get to while I’m behind the chair with clients.

We’d love someone who is:

• Friendly and comfortable talking with clients
• Dependable and organized
• Willing to clean and help wherever needed
• Comfortable learning about our retail products and helping clients with purchases
• Someone who enjoys staying active during the workday
• Looking for a place they can settle into long-term

No salon experience is necessary — we can teach you what you need to know. A positive attitude, good work ethic and being great with people are most important to us.

💰 $13–$16/hour depending on experience

We have a busy, established salon with wonderful clients and a great group of people. We’re hoping to find someone who will enjoy being part of our salon family for years to come. ❤️

Jess is a licensed cosmetologist who loves all things hair, and she’ll officially be behind the chair starting September 7th! She’s sweet, talented, excited to get started and we think she’s going to be such a great addition to our salon family!

Her book is officially OPEN, and she’s ready to start meeting all of you! ✂️🥰 Walk-ins are welcome when her schedule allows, so feel free to stop in and see if Jess has an opening!

And with Homecoming right around the corner, Jess is now booking Homecoming hairstyles! Grab your spot with her early!

Our community has been through so much, and today we want to share the story of one mom who could really use some help. ❤️

Rachel Ball
is a single mom of three who just started nursing school, working toward a better future for her family. Then the flooding hit.

The water caused devastating damage to their home. Several basement/foundation walls completely collapsed, leaving the house without water, gas and other necessities. She and her children had no choice but to leave, and their home is currently unlivable until major repairs can be made.

The pictures really say more than I ever could.

A GoFundMe has been started to help this mom get her family back home. If you are able to give—even a small amount—it all adds up. And if you aren’t able to donate, please share her story. ❤️

Our community has shown over and over what happens when people come together. Let’s help this mama and her three kids get back on their feet. 🙏.

Today some of our SOL crew and a few friends and family had the opportunity to serve with Samaritan’s Purse, helping some of our neighbors affected by the flooding. ❤️

It was a humbling day spent helping a community that has been through so much. So thankful we could lend a hand. 🙏

Our neighbors have been hit again. And again. 💔

Just as families begin cleaning up and trying to put their homes and lives back together, more rain comes and they are right back where they started.

Behind every flooded home is a family with a story. Many are now finding out that their insurance will not cover their losses because they did not have separate flood insurance. They are facing repairs, lost belongings and expenses they never imagined having to handle on their own.

Over the next several days and weeks, I want to use our salon page for something bigger than hair.

I’m going to begin sharing the stories of individual local families who have been affected, along with their fundraising information, so that our community can help them one family at a time.

You may not be able to rebuild an entire community—but together, we might be able to help rebuild a home. ❤️

Help Mike and Deana Rebuild After Devastating Flood

Mike and Deana Ashford of Roseville, Ohio, have lost nearly everything after devastating floodwaters destroyed their home.

The water rose to within just 12 inches of the top of their roof, leaving their home severely damaged and everything inside ruined. Furniture, beds, dressers, personal belongings, and the things that made their house a home were lost.

Right now, Mike and Deana are facing the overwhelming task of starting over and rebuilding their lives from the ground up.

We are asking for help to give them a fresh start. Donations will go toward replacing essential furniture and household items, including beds, dressers, furniture, and other necessities they need to begin putting their home and lives back together.

No amount is too small. Every donation, share, and kind thought means so much during this incredibly difficult time.
