Broken F Bodywork LLC
Certified Equine Massage Therapist based in Zebulon, NC, specializing in Performance and Rehabilitative Care!
Good afternoon!
We have a BIG announcement we can't wait to share with everyone! Bar B Ranch Performance Horses and Broken F Bodywork, LLC will be spending a weekend together to help your horses feel and perform their best!
You'll get the best of both worlds: Saltwater Aqua Tread therapy and Equine Massage. Packages will include a 20-minute Aqua Tread session and a massage session of your choosing. Massage options include either a targeted problem-area treatment or a full-body massage.
Not familiar with the benefits of these therapies? Read below!
Saltwater Aqua Tread Benefits include, but are not limited to:
•Increased range of motion and suppleness, which can help increase stride length.
•Helps build and maintain muscle strength. With consistent sessions, a workout plan can target areas of weakness, such as the hind end, through the use of treadmill incline settings.
•A low-impact exercise option that reduces concussion on the horse's joints, muscles, and soft tissues. Great for horses with arthritis!
•Improved cardiovascular fitness, allowing oxygen to be delivered more efficiently throughout the horse's body.
•Encourages lateral flexion of the back.
There are many benefits to equine saltwater therapy, especially for horses beginning a rehabilitation journey for muscle or soft tissue injuries.
Equine Massage Benefits
•Enhances muscle tone and increases range of motion.
•Corrects postural discrepancies and compensation patterns.
•Helps prevent injury and soreness through routine maintenance.
•Shortens recovery time and promotes healing by increasing nutrient delivery to muscles and assisting in the removal of toxins.
•Improves performance and supports consistency in intensive training programs.
•Increases circulation and oxygen delivery to cells while releasing endorphins (the body's natural pain relievers).
•Improves overall disposition and behavior.
Full-Body Treatment Session
A full-body treatment is designed to assess and address the horse as a whole. During this session, all major muscle groups are evaluated and treated to identify areas of tension, compensation patterns, soreness, and restrictions that may be affecting performance or comfort. This option is ideal for routine maintenance, performance horses, horses returning to work, or any horse that hasn't been treated recently. Because the body functions as one interconnected system, areas of discomfort often originate somewhere other than where symptoms are observed.
Targeted Problem-Area Session
A targeted treatment focuses on a specific area of concern, such as a tight shoulder, sore back, restricted hip, or muscle group associated with a recent issue. While surrounding muscles may be briefly assessed for compensation patterns, the primary focus remains on the identified region to maximize treatment time and address the concern efficiently.
For first-time clients, a full-body treatment is highly recommended to establish a baseline and identify any compensatory patterns that may be contributing to discomfort or performance limitations.
Please reach out to Bar B Ranch Performance Horses to reserve your spot! This will be two days dedicated to your horse's health, comfort, and performance.
If you have questions regarding Equine Massage, please contact Peyton with Broken F Bodywork LLC. If you have questions regarding the Saltwater Aqua Tread, please contact Bar B Ranch Performance Horses.
We can't wait to see you!

Hey there, friends! If you’ve messaged me in the last couple days I promise I haven’t been ignoring you on purpose! Unfortunately my phone completely crashed on me and I just got it replaced. As things reload and update, I want to make sure nothing falls through the cracks and no one goes without response if their message doesn’t come through. That being said, if you have reached out in the last few days please shoot me a second message now that things are back to normal just to make sure! Thank y’all for your patience🫶🏻
