Good afternoon from Fit Together Fitness RC. Started the racing season off well at one of my favorite events, with a 5th place overall at the Skunk Ape’s Revenge 30k! Now to change focus and get ready for Saturday's first run outreach of the year at Fellowship Baptist Church Thonotosassa on Hwy US-301. Starting at 9 a.m. we will begin training. Bathrooms available on campus. Bring your own hydration. You will need to sign a waiver. Good morning from Fit Together Fitness RC! Relieved to finally have some information and dates for y'all!!! We are looking forward to the 6th Annual Summer Heat 5K Run/Walk. Just waiting on permit confirmation but mark your calendars for Saturday morning, June 6th. Also super excited about starting up a run club outreach at Fellowship Baptist Church Thonotosassa. First meet up will be February 21st. Thankfully we will be blessed to have usage of the restroom facilities on campus. The plan is to start with one meet up a month on the 3rd Saturday of that month. I have confirmation for 02/21, 04/18, 05/16.
*March we may have to visit an alternative site. I will increase the number of run group meet ups per month. If the demand is there. Will start slow and progress as appropriate. Looking forward to another awesome year! See ya'll out on the trail 👣
