My Parents Gifted Me With This Name But Only I Truly Gave It Meaning: “Sikéla”= “The Sun 🌞 “

I Started Getting Into Makeup During My 8th Grade Year Of School, My Mother Put Makeup On Me To Go To The Spring Ball & For The First Time In My Life, I Felt “Pretty” & After That, I Always Wanted To Feel Pretty.
I Got Lots Of Practice Trying To Make Myself Feel Beautiful By Wearing Makeup; I Couldn’t Leave My House Without Some Form Of Makeup On, I Wouldnt Even Take Selfies If I Didnt Have Makeup On. In A Sense, My Insecurities Helped Me Improve My Skill.
But That’s Not What Made Me Become A Makeup Artist Though. . . .

One Day I Had The Chance To Do Some Of My Classmates Faces For Our Cap & Gown Photos, & After Doing Their Faces & Seeing Their Reactions To How Pretty They Looked In The Mirror; How Pretty They Felt, I Knew I Had To Continue . . .

The Fact That I Could Give Some Form Of Happiness To Another Woman Is What I Live For! Every Woman Deserves To Feel Happiness & To Know That I Could Give Some, Even Just For A Little While, Is Why I Am A Makeup Artist!
