Our lovely client from the USA 🇺🇸 came to us wanting to refresh and darken her brows, as the old pigment had faded over time. She didn’t realize that her previous brows were uneven - one brow sitting higher while the other was lower.

We carefully worked within the limits of the old tattoo to improve the symmetry and create a more balanced, flattering shape. In correction work, results can’t always be 100% perfect because it depends on how visible the old pigment still is. If we adjust too aggressively, the old shape may show outside the new brows, which can look unnatural.

Our lovely client from Morocco came to us with previous brow work that had faded into a reddish tone, with an uneven shape that no longer complemented her facial features.

After a detailed consultation, she chose not to proceed with laser removal due to time constraints, and opted instead for a direct correction approach.

With years of experience in correction, we used our Luxe Hybrid Brows technique combined with color neutralization to carefully balance the tone and refine a more harmonious shape - working on existing pigment.

This is actually very common. Many people unconsciously raise one eyebrow more than the other when they talk, think, or show facial expressions. Over time, the forehead muscles on one side can become more active, causing the brows to appear uneven when the eyes are open.

Interestingly, when the eyes are closed, the brows may look perfectly balanced. But once the eyes are open and the face returns to its natural expression, one brow may lift slightly higher due to muscle movement. This is known as dynamic brow asymmetry, and it’s something we see quite often.

At Lin Brows Studios, we always design the brows while the client is sitting upright with their eyes open. When lying down, the soft tissues of the face can shift slightly due to changes in gravity, which may make the brow position appear different compared to when a person is sitting or standing in daily life.

For this reason, we assess the brows in a natural sitting position, observing how the brows move with the client’s usual facial expressions - whether the face is relaxed, smiling, or speaking.

Our goal is not to force perfect symmetry, but to create brows that look balanced, natural, and harmonious with your real facial movements.
