With Vietnamese people, Vespa is not just a means of transportation — it is a piece of history.

Most of the vintage Vespas still running on the streets of Saigon today were manufactured in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. At that time, many of these scooters were owned by American officers and servicemen stationed in South Vietnam.

After the political events of 1975, the American officers and servicemen returned home, leaving their Vespas behind in Saigon. Vietnamese people inherited and embraced these iconic scooters, eventually creating a passionate community of vintage Vespa enthusiasts that continues to this day.

I still keep this Vespa. Every morning, I ride it to take my child to school, then continue to The Spa Saigon, open the doors, and start my working day. When the day is over, I close the shop and ride it home again.

Somewhere along the way, this Vespa became a part of my life — and an indispensable part of The Spa Saigon.

本日のお昼に、牛タンご飯のお店「Koshien Gyutan」で食事をしてきました。

屋台のような気軽な雰囲気のお店ですが、味はまさに本格的な日本の味でした。炭火で焼いた牛タンを日本風のソースにつけて食べるスタイルで、とても美味しかったです。

Mサイズのセットは11万ドンで、スープとアイスティーが無料で付いていました。コストパフォーマンスも良く、おすすめです。
