Born and raised in Lansing, I began my journey into the world of Cosmetology in August 2008 and was trained at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing.

Living with masses of impossibly frizzy and hard to control curls, I never truly felt beautiful, and that (along with artsy tendencies) led me into the field of beauty.
