Re*****on “Remi” Bateman, a nine-year-old from Utah, was denied insurance coverage for a $24,000 Hero Arm after her insurer said the device was not medically necessary. Her family turned to GoFundMe, quickly raising enough money to cover the prosthetic.
Then CrowdHealth CEO Andy Schoonover stepped in and offered to pay for Remi’s Hero Arm in full. Instead of keeping the money already raised, Remi chose to give the funds to another child, Taj Johnson Jr., who was facing a similar struggle getting his own bionic arm.

Brooklyn Dotson received a lifesaving liver transplant in 2003 after doctors told her family she had only days to live. The liver came from 10-year-old Michael Waters, whose family honored his wish to become an organ donor after his death.
The donation gave Brooklyn a second chance at life and eventually connected her with Michael’s younger brother, Noah Waters. Their friendship grew into a relationship, and more than two decades later, they are preparing to marry on September 26, 2025.

Plumbers responding to an emergency call at a shopping plaza in Howell, Michigan, spotted something shiny inside a pipe. What they pulled out turned out to be an engagement ring that had been missing for nearly 10 years.
A spa worker named Sue recognized the story after seeing the plumbers’ social media post and remembered a customer who had once lost a ring down a toilet. The owner, Carol Oram, later confirmed it was hers using original paperwork from 1965. Carol and her husband Roger have now been married for more than 60 years.
After professional cleaning revealed the ring was white gold beneath years of buildup, it was finally returned to Carol. A piece of her history that seemed lost forever had unexpectedly found its way back home.

A citizen-led petition in Australia called for Donald Trump, his family, and members of his administration to be permanently banned from entering the country. The petition closed in April 2025 with 2,723 signatures, but it was not an official government proposal.
The Australian government later responded that Australia and the United States have a longstanding alliance and a history of bipartisan cooperation. Australia does have legal mechanisms that can impose travel bans on certain people under its sanctions framework, but there is no evidence that a lifetime ban on Trump and his family has been adopted.

Princess Isabella of Denmark, the 19-year-old daughter of King Frederik X and Queen Mary, began an 11-month military service with the Guard Hussar Regiment in Slagelse on August 3, 2026. She is among the first women entering Denmark’s newly expanded conscription system.
Her decision marks a historic step for the Danish royal family, as she becomes the first female member of the family to undertake formal service with the Danish Armed Forces. She has also chosen to follow her brother’s example by declining the salary and allowances normally provided to conscripts.

The claim circulating online says Eminem and his daughter erased roughly $700,000 in school lunch debt across 103 schools. However, searches found no credible announcement, school district record, or reliable news report confirming that donation.
The story has appeared across social media and low-credibility websites with nearly identical wording, while discussions online have also questioned its authenticity. Until verifiable evidence emerges, the claim should be treated as unconfirmed rather than established fact.

Researchers have reported encouraging early results for YCT-529, an experimental non-hormonal male contraceptive pill that recently completed its first human safety trial. The drug works by targeting a protein involved in s***m production rather than altering testosterone levels. While preclinical studies showed reversible infertility and high effectiveness in animals, additional clinical trials are needed to confirm its safety and effectiveness in people before it becomes publicly available.
