I am a lucky girl 🎈

Today I am celebrating 10 years clear of breast cancer and my 63rd birthday , to think that 10 years have past and that I am here celebrating my life I feel complete gratitude to our health care system, the many friends who have supported me and have been a big part of my life and my family who stood by me through it all …there is a saying “Life is short” and this holds more true to me then it ever did before I was diagnosed BUT I encourage you to make sure you do what you love with who you love always no waiting until the moment is perfect , go and create it … xo

And just like that they are off , back to Australia 🇦🇺, heart is broken but is also happy for them, Hurry Up November🥹 We are not too far behind you ❤️

Wishing our beautiful daughter a fabulous 31st birthday , where have the years gone , you have given us so many wonderful memories and adventures. What I love most is your honest straight from the hip conversations , you do not pull any punches , no drama and you have this tough kindness that is so fabulous yet hard to explain , you are a wonderful daughter and friend to many , your heart is pure something I believe you draw from your love for animals . Day 3 Road Trip from Dubrovnik to Split with a stop in a beautiful little town called Omis for lunch , then we arrived in Our home for the next 6 days , a swim in the sea , dinner and then bed , tomorrow we visit the island of Hvar 🇭🇷 #2022

Day 2 in Dubrovnik Continues

A visit to the Old Walled Town was truly breathtaking , we have been to many walled cities in Italy but nothing compared to this , the pictures do not do it justice . As you approach the town you are in awe of it size, as you enter it you find yourself imaging life here in the 1700’s and then you realize how safe you feel inside these walls. Then a beautiful dinner !!!

A True Story Worth Sharing

A few weeks ago I was out grocery shopping with a girlfriend , we got chatting with the customer in front of us , in fact laughing and bantering with one another , the next thing I knew my groceries were paid for …

To say I was in shock 👀as was my girlfriend is an understatement , We must have Thanked him 10 times in fact I tried to get the cashier to reverse the charges and he was not having it …His response if I can do why not , enjoy your day , he walked away and I was left standing there with my mouth open ..

So what is a girl to do , I immediately turned to the cashier and said I will pay for the women now standing behind us getting ready to pay for her groceries , she immediately said why on earth would you do that , I said …

I am paying it forward because I can and have a fabulous day …

Her response THANK YOU and if I had of known I would have bought more …😂

We all laughed and we left the store …

If we can make someone’s day a little brighter why not , our world truly needs it right now , can be as simple as a smile , a cup of coffee , letting someone go ahead of you …

Let’s do our best to be our best especially to others …

True Friendship

I have been blessed in my life with exceptional friends and for this I am truly grateful …

This past weekend I was reminded of the true friendships I have in my life , we are in Australia , our daughter needed help in Montreal and with one simple message to a dear friend she was on it , no questions ask , it did not matter how inconvenient it may have been for her and her family , not that she said that because she did not in fact her actions showed us the complete love and respect we have for one another , this post is specifically for .dubois.7165 , thank you for always being there for me and my family .

This post is also for the MANY good friends I have in my life , you know who you are and I love you ❤️❤️❤️ and I am forever grateful you have truly been there for some of the most difficult times in my life xo
