It's not because we're being nosey, I promise!

Every answer helps us build a picture of your hair's history and what could influence your colour result. Things like hormones, medications, recent illness, stress, previous colour, mineral build-up, and even your hair's natural porosity can all play a part.

The truth is, no two heads of hair are the same.

Even with years of experience, hair can still surprise us. That's exactly why, in some situations, I'll recommend a test strand first. It's not because I'm unsure of my abilities,it's because I'd rather take the safest approach than make assumptions with your hair.

A test strand gives us valuable information before we commit to a full colour service. It helps us understand how your hair reacts, so we can make the best decisions together.

At the end of the day, my goal is always the same: healthy hair and the best result possible. 🤍

We hate it.

Not because we don't want to see you, but because we know we're disrupting your day. We know you've arranged your schedule, booked time off, organised childcare, or simply been looking forward to having your hair done.

We genuinely feel awful.

The reality is, we're human too.

Sometimes we wake up sick. Sometimes there's a family emergency. Sometimes life throws something completely unexpected at us.

Most hairdressers don't reschedule because they want to. We do it because we simply have no other choice.

Trust me, we're already stressing about how we're going to fit everyone back in, worrying that we've let you down, and hoping you'll understand.

We appreciate every client who shows us a little grace on those days, because the kindness you show us is never forgotten. ❤️

We're not just hairdressers,we're people too. And just like everyone else, sometimes life happens 🤍

What people don't always realise is that hairdressers don't stop thinking about your hair when you leave the salon... especially when you're coming in for a big transformation.

We literally obsess over it.

We'll lie in bed thinking about your appointment, replaying your consultation in our minds, planning the best technique, the colour formula, the placement, and every little detail to make sure we achieve the best possible result.

Sometimes we'll even dream about it! 😂

Your hair isn't "just another appointment" to us. We genuinely care, and we want you to walk out feeling confident and loving your hair.

There's so much that goes on behind the scenes that clients never see, and it's all because we want to give you the very best we can ❤️
