Labour inspectors visit the workplace in order to ensure compliance with and enforce labour legislation pertaining to the following Act,as amanded from time to time: *Basic conditions of Employment Act (Act 75 of 1997) (BCEA); *Sectoral Determinations-sectoral Determination 13 is applicable to the agricultural sector; *Compensation for Occupational injury and Diseases Act (Act 130 of 1993); *Employment Equity Act (Act 55 of 1998); *Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of1993); and *Unemployment Insurance Act (Act 30 of 1996).
