This transformation was a journey! 🧡 After years of black box colour, we carefully worked through the process of lifting out the old pigment and creating this beautiful, dimensional copper-red shade.
Colour corrections require patience, knowledge and the right technique — especially when removing artificial dark colour. The goal is always to protect the integrity of the hair while moving towards your dream colour. ✨

Clients with a lot of hair are usually so worried that it’s “too much work” for us as stylists, but honestly… transformations like this are such a privilege. The more hair, the bigger the transformation, and those are always my favourite kinds of results to create.

We decided on a lighter balayage ombré. I did teasy lights throughout while keeping the face frame bright and seamless, then went in with a wet balayage on the ends to create that soft ombré effect using Indola’s Clay Lightener — which I’m completely obsessed with.

I’m honestly so proud of how this colour turned out. 🔥
