When extremely long hair meets trust 👌🏻

This haircut wasn’t about how I felt about the length.
It wasn’t about my personal preference, trends, or what I would’ve done differently.

It was about *her*

As stylists, our job is to educate —
to explain why trims matter, what dead ends do, and how hair health works.

But once a client is informed, the decision is still hers. ALWAYS

Hair doesn’t need to be chopped to be respected.
Length doesn’t mean neglect.

And choosing not to cut everything off doesn’t mean a client “doesn’t care.”

She asked me to listen.
I did.

Afterwards she thanked me for respecting her wishes…
and hugged me 🥹 because she didn’t leave traumatised.

That hug meant more than any dramatic before-and-after ever could 💛

When I edit these videos I really have time to reflect on how amazing it is to work with people. For the longest time I focused on the negative, even convinced myself I don't like working with people which is not true.
