I have come to realize that sometimes you create a space because your own heart needed it first.

Selah Cottage is one of those places.

It wasn't built as a business.
It was built as a lifestyle.

A slower rhythm.
Morning coffee on the stoep.
Children running barefoot.
The sound of birds instead of notifications.
Long conversations.
Sunsets.
Stars.
Space to breathe.
Space to hear God again.

Today we spent the day here as a family, and once again I was reminded why this little cottage exists.

We are slowly building a different way of living.

One that values presence over pressure.
Peace over performance.
Creation over constant consumption.
Home over hurry.

This is the vision behind Selah.

Not luxury.
Not perfection.
Just a quiet place that gently reminds you that life was never meant to be lived at full speed.
