On the 12th of April, God came to pluck His most beautiful flower.

Johan loved life and lived it to the fullest, he had many plans and followed his dreams. He wanted to enter in another reality show after "TRAP DIS MY HUIS" This is a small caption of a video he had to send to the directors which we would like to share with you.

"You only live once. Sleep when you're dead." That was Lodewyk's motto. He lived every day as if it was his last.

Sadness is invading our hearts and we feel a deep pain, but little by little we will learn to cope with it until the moment in which we will remember him with much love and above all with enormous gratitude for so many beautiful moments and memories he gave us. For everything he did for us and especially for what he taught us, both with his words and with his example.

Let us keep his wonderful memory as a great treasure in our hearts and honor his memory throughout our lives.

Our hearts are sore and have we accepted that it is a pain that we shall abide with for eternity.

Johan, our loving son, brother, uncle and friend wanted to live a full life and experience life in its totality and more so, wanted to make a difference in others lives which he has done in abundance. His motto was to sleep when you're dead and even though it breaks our hearts profoundly, are we honouring his life's motto by closing his page.

Johan will always be loved by the world and its inhabitants and will never be forgotten. His absence is a silent grief - his life is a beautiful memory.

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
