Receptionist Wanted – Busy Hair & Beauty Salon (Durbanville)

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and energetic Receptionist to join our busy salon team.

Key Responsibilities
Reception and front desk duties
Booking and managing client appointments
Providing excellent client and staff support
Assisting with salon operations and daily duties
Ensuring client comfort and a welcoming atmosphere
Daily stock taking and stock management
Driving to collect stock and supplies when required
Requirements
Valid South African driver's licence (essential)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Friendly, reliable, and well-presented
Able to work well under pressure in a busy environment
Previous reception or salon experience will be an advantage
Working Hours

Tuesday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
Saturday: 08:00 – 15:00

Salary
R6,500 per month during the 3-month probation period
R7,500 per month upon successful permanent appointment

Full time position: R4000 basic plus commission
REQUIREMENTS
* over 1 year professional experience
* classic, hybrid, and volume
* sober habits and clean working habits
* must be able to get to Durbanville and work Saturdays.

CHESS

Four of our learners were members of the Western Province Schools Chess Team (Cape Town Metro) who participated at the Western Cape Schools Chess Trials on the 6th and 7th of May.

Joey Calitz, Lienka de Villiers, Sophia Hagen and James Winshaw were selected for the Western Province Team and received their Western Province Regional Schools Colours for the code Chess.
