For years, I never stressed about protein.
As a nearly lifelong vegan, I already knew that foods like beans, grains, lentils, nuts, and seeds provide protein — and that true protein deficiencies are actually uncommon.
But lately, I’ve been learning more about the importance of MUSCLE for women over 40.
Muscle impacts so much more than appearance:
✨ metabolism
✨ longevity
✨ blood sugar balance
✨ strength
✨ healthy aging
✨ hormone support
So while I’m still not obsessed with protein the way diet culture often encourages us to be… I am becoming more intentional about nourishing my body well.
Especially in this season of life.
And the beautiful thing is:
You don’t have to abandon plant-based living to build strength. 🌱
What’s your favorite plant-based protein source?

Fear will try to convince you to stay comfortable…

But regret? Regret has a way of lingering.

Sometimes the life you desire is waiting on the other side of one brave decision. One uncomfortable conversation. One bold step toward your healing, your peace, your purpose, or your health.

This is your reminder for :

Don’t let fear keep you stuck in a life you’ve already outgrown. 🌱✨

What’s one thing you would do if fear wasn’t in the driver’s seat?👇🏾

At 108 years old, Susan Young Browne from Dover, Delaware, is redefining what it means to age gracefully. Still driving herself around town and working out three times a week, Browne is showing that age doesn’t have to slow you down. She credits her routine — a mix of staying active and keeping mentally sharp — as the key to her longevity.

Browne's vitality has captured the attention of many, including Delaware’s governor, who was among the 130 people who gathered to celebrate her milestone birthday. In a world where aging is often viewed as something to endure rather than embrace, Browne’s life serves as an inspiring example of how taking care of your body and mind can lead to a fulfilling, vibrant life. Her daily routine has proven that it’s never too late to start living well. Could her secret to living over a century be as simple as staying active and maintaining a sense of independence? It seems so — and her story is inspiring a lot of people to rethink how they approach aging.

✨ Who says healthy eating has to be complicated? ✨ This is the meal I make when I’m feeling lazy. I buy organic mini packs of hummus from Costco, frozen falafel from Trader Joe’s, cut up a bunch of veggies, add olives, dates (and sometimes nuts) add my favorite vegan cheese, and voila! I’ve got a meal that looks and tastes gourmet, but is super healthy!
